Peter Thomas  Head of crime scene investigation SWP/Gwent police

With over 36 years of policing experience Peter Thomas began his career in Cardiff with the South Wales Constabulary in 1979 and became a detective within the CID drug squad and major crime department during the first 10 years of service.
In 1990 he was seconded from the drugs squad to a lengthy murder enquiry which ultimately led to a change of career focus into crime scene investigation.
In 2005 he became the head of Crime Scene Investigation for the South Wales and Gwent Police a post which he held until 2015

Dr. L.A. Murray is a retired consultant histopathologist.


Dr. Murray trained as a pathologist in Cardiff working with Dr. Bernard Knight. In 1985 she worked as a senior registrar in the Leeds university department of forensic medicine and in 1987 she returned to Wales where she practised as a home office pathologist for several years.
From 1987 to 2013 she was a histopathologist dealing with the coroner and the investigation of sudden unexpected deaths.
Dr. Murray has been involved in teaching medical professionals, lawyers, dentists and post graduate students and is widely respected in her field of expertise.
